18.04 has only just been released mainstream so Biff is just checking some compatability stuff then it's out for testing folks. Please bear with him folks as he give up his very limited spare time to build WattOS and maintain both this and his real life.

Its 2028, Iam mid in my 40's.
One fine day, suddenly stuck with a old memory, I am visiting http://planetwatt.com/new/ page and its home page welcomes me with a big message saying  "R11 - Coming Soon!".

I closed the tab and moved on ....
(to be continued)

I look forward to the release, any idea of ETA?
Also, can I be promoted? I'm not looking for "Admin", I'll take "Inquisitor" if it's available.

Re ETA.. Waiting on Biffster for this as he is the one that makes the OS. He has a crazy R/L atm but is trying to work around it.

As for the promo.. you broke rule 101!!! Never ask :D

hi aref and welcome to WattOS

Depending on the build of R11 with the new 18.04 in mind.. we have a few options to support 32bit still... whilst the default 18.04 ubuntu no longer ships in 32 bit.. there is Lubuntu, Mate and Budgie all available in 32bit flavours so fear not!

We're waiting on Biffster at the moment to get a spare moment in his hetic real life work schedule to provide an update so please be patient :)

I would really love to know when r11 or r12 is coming as well...  and will Biff have to switch to Debian which still has 32 bit support?  I heard Lubuntu is moving away from being a disto for older (32 bit) machines :)

Nope.. ubuntu still has 32 bit in store so dont fear... just a few different flavours now that support it ..

I hope LXDE will be  the desktop environment . I have been testing LXQT and that thing is bloated. Too heavy for me and I don't like it. Has too much software doesn't look like a Light Environment. Lubuntu is going to ditch LXDE so It's going to be like WATTOS the distro I see that still has LXDE.
