I would like to change the Microwatt R10 install LightDM background. Where can I do this?

I am getting hit badly by the Microwatt r10 uefi bug. I was able to work around the issue on two laptops by using a USB CD/DVD drive, rather than a USB pen drive. This doesn't work on a third laptop however. Any work arounds? All three booting in "legacy" mode. The "problem" computer is an Acer Travelmate P633. Any help please?
