Tech questions - Backups, SD cards, google drive and encyption
« on: September 18, 2015, 01:35:00 PM »
Would anyone know of Ubuntu based backup software that works with SD cards? I heard about Deja Dup, SBackup and Back-In-Time but do not know how well (easy) they would work with SD cards. I do not need much... just like to backup my documents and pictures (photos). Anything more than that would be gravy but can do without.

Has anyone managed to get Google Drive (Grive and/or Grive tools) to work on R9 LXDE i386? I have trouble just getting it installed.

Last... with GNUPG already pre-installed, what are people thoughts about VeraCrypt/TrueCrypt? Is it advised when the computer is just for home use? Or is GNUPG seen as good enough?   :-\
