The install went good, but the resolution sucked. I had experienced this once earlier with Ubuntu Unity 32bit. Did a Google search and did as suggested in a thread at "askubuntu.com". Installed the following three packages with synaptic, and rebooted.  :)

   virtualbox-guest-x11

   virtualbox-uest-dkms

   vitrualbox-guest-utils

Aren't those parts of "guest additions"?

Yes it seem they are. I normally do not need to install those when sort of checking/testing/feeling/snooping into something that stirs the distro hopper in me.  ;D But my intention is to keep this one for some time and thus I gave it some extra space and not just the normal default when installing it.  :)
