Good idea Blaze.
Since Broadcom has just been sold, and the IoT part of the business has gone to Cypress
(as in
http://www.cypress.com/news/cypress-acquire-broadcom-s-wireless-internet-things-business-0
)
Cypress has chosen to release specs/datasheets of Broadcom chips.
Whether this improves the coverage and simplicity of coping with Broadcom wifi remains to be seen, but we can all hope :-)

Thanks for the link teejay, I did not know that it had been sold. Yes, let us keep the hope alive.
Found two more links, probably the same all over again. I do link to them anyway, because sometimes it is easier to understand things if it is presented in a different way.

I have placed a draft page in the wiki with the links. This page will need to be completed by other members with wiki access (Biff, Leenie, etc)
