The so called file manager in MATE, caja, does not even have a "DELETE" function----it has a "move-to-trash" option.
However, the desktop's TRASH bin always shows empty, when checked Properties, it says: Contents:nothing
Of course, this is all wrong, the files "moved-to-trash" still exist in some hidden cache location.
After downloading, installing and running "bleachbit", these "moved-to-flash" files were finally deleted.
(verified with "df" before and after !
I think this is WATTOS related problem, since MATE 1.8.0 is used by many other distros, (ubuntu, mint) and I can not imagine that they have this issue too.
Any suggestion how to fix it ?
Thanks!
