Network Attached Storage NAS
« on: October 04, 2018, 11:55:25 PM »
I am looking to use the 32-bit version on an old laptop to demonstrate how a NAS can be used with my HS computer science students. I would like to hear from anyone that has OpenMediaVault or similar product.

My students are running a mix of Windows 7 laptops and desktops. They will need to store some small program files (Basic and Python) on the server.

Invest in an x64 system to get any proper NAS working. They're not that expensive.

Given that you are a teacher, you should be aware that 32-bit is not really supported anymore. ;)
