wattOS R9 / Modify default wallpaper in microwatt 9 32bit version

I am really liking this new distro and am finding that tiling windows are the way to go in my case. I'm not a coder just a regular Linux user who likes to get things done.
I like the fact that the i3 keyboard shortcuts are listed as part of the default wallpaper. How can I modify this to add more shortcuts? Is there something simpler than using GIMP?
