What is it that unites all different Linux distros? Wifi trouble with the name of Broadcom! Here are some links on the subject, Choose the one that fits you best. If you know of good how tos somewhere, please post them so we all can share the knowledge and see evil defeated. ;)

Good idea Blaze.
Since Broadcom has just been sold, and the IoT part of the business has gone to Cypress
(as in http://www.cypress.com/news/cypress-acquire-broadcom-s-wireless-internet-things-business-0 )
Cypress has chosen to release specs/datasheets of Broadcom chips.
Whether this improves the coverage and simplicity of coping with Broadcom wifi remains to be seen, but we can all hope :-)
