Title: SOLVED - Installing Chrome
Post by: teedee on October 23, 2014, 04:34:53 AM
How do I install Chrome browser on wattOS?
I tried to download Debian package from Google and install it using GDebi but it doesn't seem to work properly. Just asks for password and does nothing :(

@teedee; just out of curiosity, why not Chromium from the repos?

@blaze
I use mostly chrome on Windows and now I've installed wattOS on my netbook so I don't want to change everything.
Do you think Chromium is good enough? One day I tried to use Chromium but I quit. What is the difference between both?

Thank you cheiron. It was a problem with dependencies. Now it works!

Good to hear you got things going. Here is a link to an explanation about the differences between Chrome and Chromium.
