Not to worry, Biff or Cheiron will see this and maybe they can help.

You have to change the name of the Templates folder. Then you can delete it successfully.

No problem. I was new to Linux as we all were. Your Template folder is not the same as the temp files folder. I use Templates Folder for the card templates for my office writer program.

Hi, your subject said delete folders from desktop, this should say deleting folders from home folder. I have duplicated what you said happens with deleting Template folder. Same result with opening the home folder with root privileges. Biff will see this, he will know how. I use my templates folder for greeting card templates. It does come in handy to have a place for them.

Hello and welcome. We need to know exactly which wattOS you are using. If LXDE, I can help.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. With those specs you shouldn't have any problem with wattOS R9 LXDE. Enjoy!

What kind of install are you using? Are you burning to a cd or using usb install? Did you check the md5 sums? During installation, are you checking the box on the "installation type" page to "Erase disk and install wattOS"? What kind of computer, how much ram, processor speed, and do you have a graphics card?

Welcome to the forum. You did not say which version of wattOS you installed. You may have to format the drive before reinstalling. I have seen boot repair work, be sure and get the version for your wattOS- 32 or 64 bit. I'll be checking back to help.

If you have to go lightweight, check this out: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2076417

I had to take it out of autostart because it messes with the desktop manager. I put an icon for it in an application launch bar. I just click the icon when I want a new background.

Aren't those parts of "guest additions"?

There should be an icon on desktop of LXDE version that says install wattOS. Did you check the md5 sums? Do that before burning to a cd. Burn at slowest speed. Otherwise use Unetbootin on flashdrive (and Plop bootloader- if your pc does not have option to boot from usb). Are you using Windows to burn cd? Use ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/) if using Windows. I'll be waiting on your reply. Need specs of your pc too.

If I didn't know better, it sounds like this guy on YouTube who whines about Linux. He complains about everything.
