Has anyone tried installing Skype from repository? Synaptic wants to uninstall Firefox, Evince and a whole bunch of other stuff. Pepperflash for Firefox from repository seems to work ok. Curious, is running Tunein.com in Lollipop easier on system resources than running it in Firefox.

Hi Leenie - I have not tried skype...Thanks for letting us know.

I will play with it this weekend.

A quick search did yield a lot of forums related to issues with 64bit and i386 libraries, etc. I went to the skype web site and downloaded the .deb also and it would not install, and the newest they had was 12.04 to download.

More investigating this weekend :) tks...
