Microwatt Installation
« on: February 25, 2016, 05:31:18 PM »
So I downloaded the torrent for the 32 bit version and burned it to a CD. I have an old Panasonic CF-73, basically one of those metal encased construction laptops. I can get to the boot screen and then when I hit LIVE CD it does nothing for several minutes. I think I remember some issue with PAE when I tried installing Lubuntu but that was a few years ago. Any suggestions on how to go through with the install?

Can you try the cd on another computer to see if it works there? Did you check the md5 sum? Could it be a failed burning operation? Do you have the possibility to retry with a direct download instead? Does the computer work with something else?  :)

Thanks blaze. Got it to work all I had to do was force PAE.
