Update Manager - Third Party Updates?
« on: November 16, 2014, 08:36:24 PM »
Hi Ron, Blaze et al,

With reference to the Broadband USB Modem not switching to modem mode topic I started, for example, would it be best to assume that Third Party Updates should not be installed?

Thanks, Michael.

There are third-party repos developed to work with Debian. Or build from source. But not Ubuntu PPAs for example, it is high risk of borking.
