Lightweight Linux distros
« on: July 04, 2017, 11:14:48 PM »
After we compiled our lightweight Linux distros list (where we included wattOS, of course), we noticed that there are A LOT of lightweight distros.

What distro do you use on your old hardware, other than wattOS? Would love to get some suggestions.

ToriOS is actually in our special bonus page https://thishosting.rocks/best-lightweight-linux-distros/2/

About the info - mostly from the distro's official website/documentation

My old gateway solo 3100 is rocking bunsenlabs. 160 mb ram, 233 MHz processor. The only browser that works is netsurf.

How about trying out ARCHLabs "Minimo". It is Openbox based on Arch, with the #!/BunsenLabs look, feel and smell. How "Minimo" it really is, is debatable of course. Just remember the relativity theory.  ;D
