Using bookmarks in your file manager

If you have a directory that you frequently use, and find it a pain to navigate to all the time, you can bookmark it in the file manager and go there instantly. This also works with external devices (after they are mounted). (like usb drives, etc)...and yes it works with SMB shares, etc.

Here is one example. I go to /usr/share/applications all the time to "tweak" things. I get tired of going there, so I navigate there, then click "bookmarks - Add to bookmarks.

It will then ask you to name it whatever you like

Then you will have the bookmark added on the left and it is "single" click quick access to whatever you bookmarked.

I use this for SMB shares and USB drives, and local folders I get to frequently.
